As\u00ed, la comunidad de la escuela Cnel. Ignacio \u00c1lvarez Thomas del barrio de Agronom\u00eda, situada en Terrada 3983 dio avanz\u00f3 para recuperar las clases de nataci\u00f3n para sus alumnos y los de otras escuelas que practican el deporte en el mismo natatorio. \u201cEste es un paso m\u00e1s en esta lucha por la defensa de los derechos de todos\/as los\/as alumnos\/as del Alva. Seguimos unidos por el real cumplimiento de dicha medida y por la estabilidad a trav\u00e9s de los a\u00f1os de las clases para los dos niveles\u201d, manifest\u00f3 mediante un comunicado la Asamblea de Familias en Defensa del Natatorio del Alva. El natatorio hab\u00eda sido construido en 1971, cuando la Asociaci\u00f3n Cooperadora de la Escuela N\u00ba 4 del Distrito Escolar 16 &#8220;Cnel. Mayor I. \u00c1lvarez Thomas&#8221;, llev\u00f3 adelante un natatorio con ba\u00f1os y vestuarios para que sus alumnos puedan practicar nataci\u00f3n con fondos propios. Pero en agosto de este a\u00f1o el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires decidi\u00f3 suspender estas clases de nataci\u00f3n para Jard\u00edn y se hab\u00eda denunciado que en el nivel primario se estaba postergando la autorizaci\u00f3n de las clases para el ciclo lectivo 2020. Padres, docentes y directivos se vienen movilizando para reclamar por la pr\u00e1ctica de nataci\u00f3n para todos los niveles y esta es al menos una noticia esperanzadora.
