La decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 luego de que se conociera que la empresa Green hab\u00eda incumplido en los pagos a m\u00e1s de 50 proveedoras, acumulando una deuda superior a los 400 millones de pesos. Todo esto, a pesar de que -tal como inform\u00f3 este medio d\u00edas atr\u00e1s- la Ciudad asegura haber cumplido en tiempo y forma con los pagos a la constructora. Green, tal como recordaba el informe publicado anteriormente, se encontraba en una delicada situaci\u00f3n desde hace varios meses. Al margen de su menci\u00f3n en el \u00abCaso Cuadernos\u00bb, arrastraba grandes deudas y hasta ten\u00eda un embargo sobre sus cuentas bancarias, involucradas en opacas maniobras. La obra del viaducto est\u00e1 inconclusa: seg\u00fan cifras oficiales el porcentaje ejecutado es del 96%. En el 4% restante entra la terminaci\u00f3n de las estaciones intermedias Villa Crespo y La Paternal, por las que los trenes pasan sin detenerse desde julio pasado, cuando el viaducto fue habilitado y el tr\u00e1fico de trenes restablecido tras m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o de interrupci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de las obras de la v\u00eda tercera, entre otras terminaciones de importancia. Al momento todas esas tareas se encuentran frenadas, excepci\u00f3n hecha de la obra de se\u00f1alamiento (a cargo de Alstom), que forma parte de un contrato independiente.
